Technology services and consulting company Wipro partnered with telecommunications company Nokia on Monday, to help enterprises scale their digital transformation with a secure 5G private wireless network solution integrated with their operation infrastructure.
The company said the solution will fetch greater reliability, mobility, connectivity speed, real-time access to business insights, and has the ability to process high volumes of data with minimal latency. The tech company also said this alliance is intended for customers in the manufacturing, energy, utilities, transportation, and sports entertainment industries.
Nokia will deliver the Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) and Modular Private Wireless (MPW) solutions, which include hardware and software. Wipro, with its cutting-edge 5G Def-i with Industry DOT and OTNxt platforms, will provide strategic direction and industry insights for effective integration into enterprise environments.
A week ago, Wipro partnered with IBM, global hybrid cloud firm to launch its enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) ready platform, which allows clients to create their enterprise-level, fully integrated and customized AI environments.

Recently, Nokia also collaborated with Intel to utilize the chip maker’s technology Xeon processors and power management software for energy efficiency improvements in 5G networks that will power Nokia’s cloud-native 5G Core solutions.
