Etihad Cargo Collaborates with Awery to Cater Charter Services

Logistics firm Etihad Cargo partnered with Awery Aviation Software, aviation and aerospace component manufacturing firm on Wednesday, to meet the growing demand for charter services due to the global rise in the e-commerce sector.

The cargo service provider said it has implemented a customized version of Awery’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to manage its Cargo Chartering Programme, which will enable the firm to streamline operations, improve response time as well as deliver superior customer services.

Awery’s ERP is derived from intelligent automation (IA) and the system reads information from customer inquiries, making it easily accessible for the creation of future charter quotes, said the firm.

Subsidiary of Etihad Airways said the customers will be able to accept quotes and book directly with a single click or reject them, with the option to provide a reason for why the quote has not been accepted.

“The tailored Awery ERP system will enable the carrier to meet the increasing demand for charter services in the market and improve operational efficiency and customer service, in managing charter inquiries more efficiently,” said Stanislas Brun, Vice President of Cargo at Etihad Cargo.

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Cargo officially launched a digital sales optimization tool called Sales Cockpit to assist the carrier in enhancing customer relationships in a partnership deal signed with Netherlands-based Rotate in May 2023.
