Microsoft Launches Copilot Pro in Middle East

Global tech giant Microsoft, on Wednesday, expanded its newly launched conversational chat interface Copilot Pro subscription across the Middle Eastern region to enhance the users’ productivity and creativity.

This was initiated after the company recently appointed Mustafa Suleyman as Executive Chief of its newly launched division Microsoft AI, where the new division focuses on advancing consumer artificial intelligence (AI) products and research, which includes Copilot, Bing, and Edge.

Copilot Pro is the advanced version of Microsoft’s Copilot with fast-paced performance and enhanced creativity capabilities. The premium subscription will allow the users to access the latest OpenAI models such as GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo. Additionally, the users will also be able to build their own Copilot GPTs.

Copilot Pro currently costs a user $20 on a monthly basis. The service is currently available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Chinese Simplified.

The premium members will be able to access Copilot within the free Microsoft 365 web apps such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint without an additional Microsoft 365 subscription. However, a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscription is still required to access Copilot in the desktop apps for PC and Mac, added the company.

In early January, Microsoft introduced Copilot key in the keyboard of Windows 11 personal computers (PCs) to seamlessly access artificial intelligence (AI) and simplify as well as amplify the computing experience to the users.
