‘SIRC 2020 Re-mind’ an Insurance virtual event initiative by Singapore is to be announced
A new global center of excellence in risk management, The “Global-Asia Insurance partnership” (GAIP) in Singapore is scheduled to be launched at first-ever Singapore International Reinsurance conference (SIRC)’2020 Re-mind’ virtual event to be held on the first week of November.
As Asia faces structural and emerging risks GAIP will be the strategic response to deal with it.
Nanyang Technological University of Singapore will be the research institution partner under GAIP, to work on studies about the future development and needs of the insurance sector.
GIAP will produce policy recommendations, data insights and research that will enhance regional policymakers and insurance industry.
Seven hundred and fifty delegates of Thirty six countries have already registered for the virtual event, less than two weeks after the announcement, which is first of its kind for the insurance industry.

‘SIRC 2020 Re-mind’ will re-create the feel of in-person with virtual zones such as Help Desk; conference hall; Networking Lounge; Meeting Concourse; Meetings Arcade.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, Deputy Prime minister and Minister of Finance, Mr Heng Swee Keat will be heading the distinguished panel of speakers.
